Who We Are

Link2Recruit recruitment consultants in Birmingham and Liverpool were established in June 2007 when the three directors, who all came from ‘big name’ high street agencies, decided that a boutique consultancy that complimented the categories of staff supplied by Link2Recruit would be a ‘one stop shop’ for most clients.

By February 2009, despite the economic downturn, demand was such that expansion was the only option and extra staff were recruited. Since then, we have developed four separate operating divisions covering Engineering Recruitment, Industrial/Automotive Recruitment, Driving/Logistics and Sales, in 2015 we started a new division in Waste Management due to the growth we have experienced in this area.  We are now one of the leading industry specific Waste Management Consultancies in the UK.

Our recruitment consultants have a wealth of experience, not only within the recruitment industry, but across a spectrum of industries, and we continue to operate as consultancy in the true sense of the word, offering free unbiased advice on recruitment matters including legislative changes.

Our service is to both Job seekers and Clients alike, and as such we aim to be the “Link” from both perspectives.

DEAN McGUIRE

Managing Director

Dean opened Link2recruit in 2007 after working for one of the largest Industrial recruitment companies in the UK for over 7 years, starting from the very bottom as a trainee consultant and working his way up to Regional Operations Manager, he was responsible for setting up new branches and made a success of 4 new branches across the UK, it was at that point he realised recruitment was his chosen career path and decided to go alone, Dean has a passion fro development and streamlining the recruitment process and is an expert in the Automotive industry having a full understanding of the trends and markets, allowing Link2recruit to foresee the peaks.

PAUL MORRELL

Paul also opened Link2recruit in 2007 along with Dean and Tim after also working for the same Recruitment firm for over 10 years specialising in the HGV Division as a senior Manager, Pauls extensive experience in this industry was invaluable and his reputation in Birmingham was a key to the initial growth of Link2recruit. Paul works very closely with Tim to ensure compliance in the Driving sector and over sees the service Link2recruit provide our customers and works on strategies to improve the operation of Link2recruit.

TIM WELLS

Tim opened Link2recruit along with Paul and Dean in 2007 after also workign for the same recruitment firm for over 10 years as a senior Manager in the Driving and Industrial Fields allows him to oversee projections and forecasts in the transport industry and working closely with the FTA so LInk2recruit are fully compliant with all new regulation changes

PHIL CHATFIELD

REGIONAL DIRECTOR

Phil Joined Link2recruit in 2014 as a Branch Manager and has recently been promoted to a Regional Director, Phil has amassed significant recruitment experience over the years as well as having a successful national business with multiple branches across the UK, he sold this business in 2012. His knowledge and experience of running his own business has proved to be invaluable at Link2recruit. Phis is responsible for the 3 branches at Link2recruit and ensuring the smooth operation of the business as well as being the License holder of the GLA license, ensuring we are fully compliant with the strict regulations that go with being a GLA member.

With 30 years experience in accounts and payroll and 11 years experience in Human Resources .Responsible for the Accounts, Payroll and Human Resource department. Ensuring that Link2recruit operate effectively to maintain the high standards that we strive to deliver .

Jess has worked at Link for 6 years and started off in Engineering recruitment and moved into the payroll dept 4 years ago and currently looks after the industrial/automotive and Engineering
